Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Teller in our Tellers Section. Examples of duties include receive, verify, and balance revenues collected from electric bills, new service deposits, loans and appliance repair bills, and petty cash.
  Process payment for Metro Water Services.  Process cash vouchers, payroll checks, gift certificates, and credit card payments.  Verify checks for sufficient funds.

Position Requires:

  • High School or General Education Diploma.

  • Six months of experience in a bank, credit union or utility collecting, processing, counting and balancing customer payments and/or deposits is required.

  • Must attain a satisfactory score on applicable job related examination(s).

The minimum rate is $20.54 per hour, and the maximum rate is $29.02 per hour.

Nashville Electric Service is currently seeking customer service professionals for our fast paced utility call center. The primary purpose of this position is to communicate effectively with customers to establish electric service, answer questions and resolve complaints.  Subject to 24-hour call and shift work.
Ideal candidate possess:

  • Six months of experience in a high volume call center assisting customers with requests, services, billing, pay options and other company programs is required. 

  • Must attain a satisfactory score on applicable job related examination(s).

  •  Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Strong customer relations and computer skills
